Turmeric Curcumin With BioPerine

As I get older, I’ve experienced joint pain. I normally just take an over-the-counter pain reliever. I ran across an article about the benefits of Turmeric and this is what I found. While it shouldn’t be used in place of any prescription medications (unless under the supervision of a doctor), Turmeric has benefits that compete with the following:

• Anti-inflammatory drugs
• Anti-depressants (Prozac)
• Chemotherapy
• Anti-coagulants (Aspirin)
• Pain killers
• Diabetes drugs (Metformin)
• Arthritis medications
• Inflammatory bowel disease drugs
• Cholesterol drugs (Lipitor)
• Steroids

While I’m not on Prozac, I do take a medication for anxiety. I also take low-dose aspirin, a pill for acid reflux, and of course pain killers (excedrin, ibuprofen, etc). I thought I’d give the Tumeric a try to see what kind of difference it would make. If I can actually make some lee-way by taking a natural supplement instead of all the prescription and OTC meds, I’d be thrilled. While I’ve only taken it for a few days, I’ve decided that this will become a routine pill in my daily regimen. I feel I can’t go wrong with all the wonderful benefits of Tumeric. I was given this sample free to test and review.
